The hold is exactly what I wanted—it keeps my hair in place without that stiff, crunchy feeling by the end of the day. The cedarwood comes through more than the orange, which I actually prefer since it's not too sweet, and the matte finish means no greasy shine.
I've tried a lot of pomades and most either leave my hair crunchy or greasy by noon, but this one holds a natural, matte texture from morning to night without any stiffness. The wild orange and cedarwood scent is subtle enough that it doesn't fight my cologne, which is exactly what I wanted.
The scent is incredible—that cedarwood comes through without being overpowering. I've been using it on my shorter hair and the matte finish actually stays clean from morning until dinner.
